Kawana Surf Club is centrally located on the picturesque Sunshine Coast behind Kawana Shoppingworld. The Club formed in 1980 and started patrol operatons that year. Th clubhouse offers fully licensed bar, fantastic gaming and wonderful dining with a warm family atmosphere. Active Club Members patrol the beach on a volunteer basis on the weekends and public holidays during the warmer months. They also participate in the many other activities offered by Kawana Surf Club including junior activities, surf sports, lifesaving training, fund raising and much more. Now after 25 years of operations, Kawana Waters Surf Club has become a great social venue and community facility,a great family club, as well as providing an award-winning quality of safety for the beach going public of this growing area of the Sunshine Coast.
