Noosa Heads SLSC is ideally located right on the Main Beach of Noosa over looking the quiet and peaceful Laguna Bay. Often regarded as the calmest beach on the coast, Noosa Surf Life Savers patrol up to 800 metres of beach on a good day. The Active club provides for some 180 active, 280 nippers and 700 associate members and is growing each year in number. They employ a fulltime Development and Training Officer as well as other Administrative staff and are able to provide almost 7 days a week community education programs as well as the mandatory SLSQ awards training. Currently involved in most of the local schools surf awareness programs, and provide First aid, ARC and Defibrilator courses to local business.
