| Marcoola SLSC is situated on the Sunshine Coast, approximately 115 km north of Brisbane. We are a small community located on the North Shore of Maroochy River and enjoy enthusiastic community involvement. Our beach is patrolled weekends and school holidays during summer, but we foresee the possibility of a permanetn lifeguard in the not to distant future as our area is growing and vistor numbers increasing. We are part of the Emergency Rescue Service, our local active members are on call 24 hours and cover the area from te MAroochy River mouth to Point Arkwright. We are a family orientated club and have a membership consisting of Nippers thorugh to Masters, with bunk rooms and kitchen facilities for those members who do not live in the immediate area. The Supporter club has full facilities, meals 7 days a week and a great ocean view. Visitors are always welcome. |
